Farm Vehicles
Vehicles qualify for the Farm Use rating provided:
-
the insured derives their living principally from a farming operation, AND
-
the vehicle is garaged on a farm, AND
-
the vehicle is not driven to and from work or school.
Large trucks and semis that are used in your farming operation can be written on a non-commercial policy. A truck is deemed eligible as a farm truck if:

it is used exclusively in connection with the operation of a farm, AND
-
it does not operate under a commerce permit nor haul goods for hire.
As long as these qualifications are met, we are able to provide the farm owner with the lower rates and broader coverages offered by a private passenger auto policy.
Auto Insurance Discounts
When you combine your farm and auto insurance, you qualify for an auto/home discount of 20-25%. Pay your six month auto premium in full and you qualify for an additional 10-20% discount.
